Good car collection
Bad Dealer, even worse service department. Bought two cars there and it has been an terrible experience. Worth driving to another dealer...
Terrible dealer. Never go here for service. Their staff lies, their techs are poorly trained and the management is lacking. You would be better off going to a quick-lube shop for an oil change and a budget tire place for wheels and tires. They charge over 200 for an alignment, and they don't even use a computer alignment system - they do it by sight. Anyone else would charge under 100 and use the proper tools.
I found a BMW online and called the dealer to schedule a test drive. The salesman I had spoke with on the phone seemed nice but that quickly changed when I arrived in person. We originally set up a time of 1pm, and when I arrived I was told he was "eating lunch" and that I had to wait. Finally about 10 minutes later he strolls down and greats me like I'm being an inconvenience to him. During the test drive it was clear he had no knowledge of the car at all, which I wouldn't have minded if he wasn't trying to bullshit his way around everything. I told him I wanted to look around and I'd let him know. After a few days I called him back and told him I'd take the car and I'd be there at 2pm which he said great and he'd put it aside while I drove down. As soon as I got there the rude receptionist told me that he was in the middle of a sale with another group of people and I'd have to wait. I tried to talk to him while he was running out of his cubicle but he was avoiding me like the plague, which should've been a red flag. I went out onto the lot and what do I find? a sold sign on what was to be my car. I hunted him down and asked him what was going on. He told me in an angry tone that I needed to see someone else and he pawned me off to a dirty, clearly hung over old man who didn't utter two words to me. I finally had enough and started to walk out when the original salesman hunted me down and apologized. I told him I wouldn't have had an issue if he just told me the car was sold but the nonsense runaround they pulled was unacceptable. Then about two weeks later I get a phone call from him asking if I still wanted to buy a car like nothing ever happened. Furthermore a simple Google search will show they've had several lawsuits against them. I ended up going to New Country BMW in Hartford, which I highly recommend.
