Lastly, the cold welcoming I was given made me run out of the store. I said "Hello." in a friendly and upbeat manner (as that's who I am). The miserable blonde looked me up and down and asked "Are you here for flowers?" - as if, I was there to get a pedicure. I am covered in tattoos and strongly feel that I was judged based on my appearance.
I went to your shop around 9.50 in the morning of June 21st to buy flowers for my daughters graduation. The lady that was working there at that time was so rude its beyond imagination how a small business family owned business can treat customers like this. I was picking some flowers in a hurry and she came and said to me "Excuse me, you can't touch these flowers ". Then she got on the phone and I was waiting and waiting and after 10 minutes of waiting I asked her for help when she showed me the phone in her hand and said "I'm on the phone"! While rolling her eyes. I was speechless that a family owned business can treat their customers this way. I've never ever in my life received this type of treatment anywhere before. Your business will be gone if you continue to employ this type of workers.
Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. Aside from the less than satisfactory selection of flowers, the attitude on the blonde inside far surpassed the offensivity of the burnt and extremely dried out garden.
I have driven by Phil's Garden Center many times. Today, 6/30/17, I decided to actually stop in and see what the shop had to offer.
Phil's Garden Center staff member (the blonde florist) WAS EXTREMELY RUDE and I will BE SURE to let every one of my fellow gardeners know so.
Been coming here for several years to get a pillow for the cemetery. Beautiful selection and really nice helpful staff!! Thanks!
